(BANGKOK, May 2021)—Thirteen members of the Rohingya Women’s Network exchanged updates and recommendations with Myanmar’s National Unity Government Minister for Women, Youth, and Children, Susanna Hla Hla Soe, and three other members of the ministry. As the first meeting between the network and the ministry, participants discussed key issues of concern for the Rohingya community in Myanmar, including citizenship and property rights for Rohingya as well as recognition of and accountability for atrocities committed against the Rohingya community in Myanmar.
