Today is International Women Human Rights Defenders’ Day #IWHRD Angkhana Neelapaijit—a Thai woman human rights defender, former member of the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand, and a 2019 Ramon Magsaysay award winner—is facing a criminal defamation complaint brought by the Thai poultry company, Thammakaset. Thailand should protect human rights defenders from judicial harassment and immediately drop the complaint against her.
