Refugees Trained on Gender-Based Violence and Domestic Violence Issues 

(NONTHABURI, November 2022)—On November 24, 2022, Fortify Rights contributed to training organized by HOST International for a group of 15 refugees, including 12 women from Viet Nam and Cambodia. The one-day training focused on gender-based violence and domestic violence and included participatory activities and exercises to provide a better understanding of how gender stereotypes in a patriarchal culture contribute to violence against women, how to develop safety planning when facing domestic abuse, and ways to strengthen the community in preventing any forms of gender-based violence.
