(BANGKOK, March 2020) — Migrant workers in Thailand are “unable to work” and are “living in fear” due to the COVID-19 pandemic, said Suthasinee “Bik” Kaewleklai today to Al Jazeera. P’Bik is the Coordinator of the Migrant Workers Rights Network, which is advocating for migrant workers’ rights in the age of COVID-19.

Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh are also living in fear. Members of the Rohingya Youth for Legal Action and the European Rohingya Council were quoted in the Southeast Asia Globe, which also featured the photography of Fortify Rights Media Fellows Dil Kayas and Azimul Hasson in the article “A Life in Pictures.”
