Amy is a co-founder of and Executive Director of Fortify Rights. Previously she worked with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Regional Office for Southeast Asia, Secretariat of Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, the Chin Human Rights Organization, and Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES). She is a licensed U.S. attorney with a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and a B.S. from Northeastern University in the U.S.
