On September 4, Fortify Rights launched a new report, “Crashing Down on Us”, documenting Myanmar junta airstrikes in Kachin and Karenni states between October 2023 and November 2024 — attacks that amount to war crimes.

The launch included a panel discussion where human rights defenders highlighted the junta’s war crimes and impunity, the devastating toll on civilians, and the urgent need for international accountability.
