Fortify Rights documented the Myanmar military junta’s use of commercial paramotors and gyrocopters to carry out deadly attacks on civilians across Myanmar’s central lowlands, targeting schools, hospitals, and civilian gatherings. The attacks intensified around the junta’s staged elections.

Governments should urgently enforce sanctions on aviation fuel, aircraft components, and dual-use technologies enabling the junta’s aerial operations.
