(LONDON, October 2025)—Between October 14 and 17, 2025, a delegation of Myanmar human rights defenders from the Chin Human Rights Organization (CHRO) held a series of high-level strategic meetings in the U.K. The meetings included with members of the U.K. parliament, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, and the Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales. The meeting provided an opportunity for CHRO to discuss the human rights and humanitarian situation in Myanmar, specifically in Chin State. Earlier, on October 9, 2025, CHRO also exchanged information with members of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Human Rights.
Fortify Rights organized meetings in the U.K. for CHRO and also contributed to the discussions.
