LGBTI+ Human Rights Defenders Celebrate Pride Month

(BANGKOK, June 2021)—Fortify Rights celebrated Pride Month in June along with LGBTI+ human rights defenders and others. As part of these celebrations, Fortify Rights worked with LGBTI+ human rights defenders to produce a series of animated social media cards, including inspiring quotes from LGBTI+ human rights defenders. The cards featured the President of the Rainbow Sky Association Thailand, Kittinun “Danny” Daramadhaj; Executive Director of Asylum Access Thailand Naiyana Thanawattho; Founder and Director of Rights Beyond Borders Thailand Ampika Saibouyai; international development professional Tommy Chaiya; and Fortify Rights’ Senior Specialist Iuri Kato. Through the animated images, the five human rights defenders shared what gender diversity means to them and the importance of promoting rights for all.
