(LONDON, June 5, 2025)—On June 5, 2025, the Henry Jackson Society in Londonincluded Chinese activist Wu’Er Kaixi as a panelist in its event “Tiananmen Square: 36 Years On.” Wu’Er Kaixi was one of the key organizers of the 1989 student protests in Tiananmen Square. The event provided an opportunity for Wu’Er Kaixi to share his experience as a Chinese activist and insights on the current state of affairs in China.
Fortify Rights arranged for Wu’Er Kaixi’s participation, and Fortify Rights’s Senior Director Benedict Rogers chaired a portion of the panel discussion.
